In 2018 we established a new and more tangible way of measuring the social impact our clients’ projects have on their local communities.
Through our partnership with Social Profit Calculator, we have been able to provide the public sector with an unprecedented degree of accuracy when calculating the social and economic impact off local investments, in the short, medium and long term.
Rather than simply count the numbers of jobs and apprenticeships created, we are able to calculate the financial value of these outcomes and demonstrate how they contribute towards the overall social impact of a project.
The results have been startling.
In 2018 alone, the total social value that has been enabled through Pagabo frameworks is an incredible £782.9m.
This has been delivered via projects right across the UK, and is made up of the following:
Benefits to Local Economies (LM3) = £473,239,485 of value
Work Placements = £390,308 of value
New Jobs = £30,158,241 of value
Safeguarded Jobs = £113,630,124 of value
Workforce Productivity = £162,140,332 of value
Apprentices = £3,346,620 of value
As the year draws to a close, we’re proud of the role we’ve played in helping our clients deliver these results for their communities. It’s this level of long-term visibility of the future social impact of a project’s investment that sets Pagabo apart from other framework providers.
