We're delighted to announce that Faithful+Gould, a member of the SNC Lavalin Group, has won its 250th project through our Professional Services Framework - following their appointment on a unique residential development in the North West.

How did we reach this milestone?

The consultancy has been appointed project management consultant and client representative for the Festival Gardens development in Liverpool. The project marks Faithful+Gould’s latest win since being re-appointed to Lot 1 of the framework in April 2020.

Liverpool City Council, in partnership with Homes England, is set to deliver the new residential scheme by 2030, which will create around 2,000 new eco-friendly homes on currently derelict land to the south of the city centre.

Faithful+Gould will provide project management services for the strategic infrastructure works as part of the initial development.

The council also utilised our Major Works Framework in order to appoint Vinci Construction UK to deliver the £29m site remediation works.

Benefits our framework continues to enable

It is a further example of the benefits of our framework, which has enabled Faithful+Gould to deliver single service and multi-discipline solutions throughout the UK across a range of sectors, including local and central government, higher education, health, highways, transportation, leisure and heritage.

Jon Sealy, Managing Director at Faithful+Gould, said: “Festival Gardens is a fantastic project which will support the need for more housing in the region, as well as using innovative construction methods to create ‘green’ homes that are fit for the future.

“It also clearly demonstrates the benefits of being part of Pagabo’s framework and represents the 250th project win for Faithful+Gould since our reappointment in April 2020.

“Our place on the framework has provided a great opportunity to deliver the best value services to the public sector, and we look forward to reaching our next significant milestone.”

Ensuring your projects are in safe hands

In order to be considered for Pagabo’s Professional Services Framework, consultants went through a rigorous OJEU compliant tender process and were required to prove strong finances, relevant experience and to echo Pagabo’s passion for delivering social value, supporting SMEs, and technology.

Jonathan Oram, National Framework Manager at Pagabo, added: “It’s fantastic to reach the 250th appointment of Faithful+Gould through our Professional Services Framework, a milestone that has been surpassed just 18 months into the framework’s inception.

“It’s clear from this milestone that clients across the UK are seeing the numerous benefits that come with an appointment through Pagabo’s Professional Services Framework, including compliance, speed and real value for money, which this route to market continues to demonstrate. Here’s to another 250 projects!”

Frameworks that put SMEs and social value at the forefront

As part of its commitment to reflect those values, Faithful+Gould ensures small businesses make up a significant part of its supply chain, which is currently more than 80% SME.

It has also generated a social return on investment of £5.25m, based on a range of measurements, such as the value of apprentices on projects (£66k), safeguarded jobs (£280k), GVA (£1.7m) and LM3 (£1.4m).
